chpwn blog: Introducing Spire (Siri) →
chpwn: Spire is my (along with Ryan Petrich) new tool for installing Siri on previously unsupported, but jailbroken, devices. Spire is a small download, but while installing it will download Siri itself (directly from Apple). Spire is available in Cydia right now — go get it! This will use about 100…

Keyboard "shortcuts" on iPad and Mac
I cannot believe I had to learn this from my girlfriend. I can hold down the comma/exclamation point and the period/question mark on my iPad’s keyboard, and I will get quotational marks and apostrophes. I had no idea. Turns out, I can even hold down letters on my Mac’s keyboard, and a pop-up menu appears with different styles of the letter to chose from. Example, hold down A, and á, ä, à, â, ã...

Tweetdeck vs. official apps →
In the last week or so, I changed my Twitter and Facebook app of choice to TweetDeck. Once a third-party application, Twitter bought it a couple years ago. The idea is that it combines your Twitter timeline with your Facebook feed. Great idea, in fact. It even has an iPhone app too! This is all great, especially how tightly integrated it is with Twitter (of course), and I really love how you can...

Educational and career hopes
Right now, I attend school on a gymnasium (I know that’s funny in english), which is equivalent to an american high school. I am on my second year of three. For a long time, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I knew my interests, but I didn’t find them realistic as something to secure my income. I played a lot of theatre, and I really liked music. So I really wanted to be either an...

Tanker omkring blogging

AT6 - Denmark at war
Today (and yesterday for that matter), my class is doing a project in AT [danish course on relations between subjects] on Denmark at war. Our interactions in Afghanistan and how the soldiers experience it. We watched a danish documentary, Armadillo, and we have to do a sociological analysis and a media-based analysis - theories on how the instructor uses techniques to show feelings and put...

First tumblr post!
